Response to "Titles"
STEM, being, science, technology, engineering and mathematics, is one of the 16 "career clusters", it is also one of the four academies that our faculty decided to be a larger grouping for the clusters.
I was pigeonholed into the topic of why this is, so, why not? The question is, why is it that STEM is an academy and a cluster, well...
One of the biggest things about this is that technology touches upon every career (brief tangent: I hate people misunderstanding what technology is, if a monkey throws a rock at a panda, it's technology), that's a lot of it. Another part of it is that science, technology, engineering, mathematics, are so interconnected that not having them as a cluster wouldn't make since, but are also so broad as to be an academy.
My teacher said to be thoughtful, so the question I ask is this, why am I in this class? Because it's required, but on a broader scale. Also, next time, limerick form.
